Delta Airlines: Seen & Valued

Seeing yourself in something — it’s the foundation of what makes up our dreams. From the kid who daydreams about traveling the world, to the passenger who personally identifies with the latest Delta ad, seeing yourself in the media around you creates that spark of courage to set out on your own adventure. Yet only 4% of travel advertising features Black travelers. Alongside my Art Director partner, we created a campaign during Black History Month highlighting the need for more representation in the world of travel. African American travel photographers and content creators took over the Delta instagram account to offer new perspectives on some of their most memorable travels. The inspirations, the first impressions, the challenges, with their own stories out there their adventures inspired and educated those yearning for greater view and understanding of the world.
